This policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds work for purchases made on storica.co.uk. It is a helpful template and does not constitute legal advice. UK consumers also have rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Dispatch & Delivery (for context)
- Orders are typically prepared and dispatched within 24–48 hours (working days).
- Estimated delivery time is 5–9 working days after dispatch.
30-Day Return Window
If you change your mind, you may return unopened and resalable items within 30 days of delivery for a refund. Please initiate your return by emailing contact@storica.co.uk with your order number.
Eligibility for Returns
- Items must be unused, undamaged and in their original condition and packaging (including any inserts or shrink-wrap where applicable).
- Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.
- Non-returnable items: personalised or custom-made products; items returned more than 30 days after delivery; items not in resalable condition unless faulty.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged, defective or not as ordered, please contact us within 30 days of delivery at contact@storica.co.uk. Include your order number and clear photos of the issue and the packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund (including standard delivery costs where we are at fault).
How to Start a Return
- Email contact@storica.co.uk with your order number, reason for return and photos if applicable.
- We will reply with return instructions and the return address.
- Package the item securely. We recommend a tracked service and keeping the proof of postage.
Return Shipping Costs
- Change-of-mind returns: you are responsible for return postage. Original delivery charges are non-refundable (except where required by law).
- Faulty/incorrect items: we will cover reasonable return postage or provide a pre-paid label where available.
Refunds
- Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 working days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.
- We may deduct an amount for any loss in value resulting from unnecessary handling (beyond what is needed to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods).
Exchanges
We can exchange items for the same product variant if stock is available. If not, we will offer a refund. Please contact us first to arrange an exchange.
Late or Missing Refunds
- Check your bank account or card statement again.
- Contact your card issuer or bank; it may take time before your refund is officially posted.
- If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please email us at contact@storica.co.uk.
Undeliverable Parcels & Wrong Address
- If a parcel is returned to us due to an incomplete/incorrect address or repeated failed delivery attempts, we can resend it (additional postage may apply) or refund the product price less original shipping once received back in good condition.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights under UK consumer law, including your right to a refund, repair or replacement for faulty goods.
